Double Coating Improves Picture & Sound Quality
Double coating simultaneously creates two distinct magnetic layers - a lower layer that optimises low-frequency recording and an upper layer that optimises mid-range and high-frequency recording. The result is a tape that offers excellent audio and video fidelity across the entire recording frequency range.

Reduced Dropouts
Thanks to strict quality control and the low electrical resistance of the tape's surface, Fuji H471S videocassettes typically offer a dropout count of only three per minute. Even after long-term storage, or under adverse temperature conditions and the demands of editing, the superior quality and durable construction of H471S videocassettes ensure that dropouts stay low.

Double-Orientation Technology
In order to improve magnetic performance it is necessary to orient magnetic particles in the magnetic layer with an electromagnet immediately after the coating emulsion is applied. With conventional orientation techniques, which use a single electromagnet, the process is often incomplete. Fujifilm Double-Orientation technology overcomes this problem by using two powerful electromagnets. This ensures that particle orientation is exceptionally uniform for improved performance and finer image resolution.
